The setting is far future, Earth has long since united under the rule of one government, and colonization explorations to other planets is a common occurence. Our setting is a space station or super large ship like that seen on Star Trek, it is populated by several hundred crew members and their families. Our hero, Jerrek is a young man, I'd say around age 17 who is finished with his regular schooling and is about to begin training to become a pilot. When we start the story he is waking up in his family's unit of rooms.

Jerrek: Uh, my head hurts... I shouldn't have let Greeto talk me into stealing that hyperpod last night. Oh well it doesn't matter now, I might as well get to the central dock before I'm any later.

You take care of your morning business and get dressed for the day. You skip breakfast because you are already late. As you run down the hallway to central dock you run into Kyla, your best friend Greeto's twin sister.

Kyla: Hey they Jerrek! Are you late for work again?

She is smiling at you and obviously wants to talk.

A.Stay and Talk, work's not important (got to 1)
B.Apologize and get to work (got to 2)
C. Ignore her and get to work (go to 3)

Jerrek: Hey Kyla, yeah I'm late, but it's not important. I was thinking of skipping anyway, I'm too tired from last night's little adventure. Did Greeto tell you how we stole a hyperpod and went out flying last night?

Kyla looks amazedly at you
Kyla: Jerrek! I can't believe you would do that? Do you know how much trouble you would get in if you were caught?

A. Baby, a man like me does not fear danger . . . (go to 5)
B. Yeah, I know. I didn't really want to do it but Greedo is so persuasive. (go to 6)
C. Puh-lease, Me get caught? (go to 7)

Jerrek: Aww Kyla, I'd love to talk to you now, but I'm really late for training.

Kyla: Hey, it's cool I understand.
(But even as she says it she seems a little dissapointed) (Go to 4)

You attempt to ignore Kyla and continue walking to class, but you feel a sudden sharp object hit the back of you head. You turn around to realize she is throwing her books at you.

Kyla: Hey jerk! Why;d you ave to go and ignore me? I was just trying to be friendly. See if I ever talk to you again....

She grabs her books and huffs away.

Jerrek: Talk about your macho chick . . . (got to 4)

You arrive at the central dock where Captain Lorke is speaking to several other trainees like yourself. As you enter the area out of breath from running you notice many of the others, including the Captain are eyeing you dissapprovingly. This is not a good way to start your career as a pilot.

Captain Lorke: As many you have heard I'm sure, a hyperpod was stolen last night and taken out for a joyride by someone with access to this docking port. The vehicle was returned, but there were several expensive damages to the body. If the security team discovers the culprit, believe me there will be a heavy price to pay. If you turn yourself into me however, I'll make sure your punishment is less severe. That's it, today's training plans have been cancelled, but be sure to be here on time tommorow everyone. (He eyes you especially and the group laughs)

You let out a sigh of relief and notice Greeto standing on the other side of the room. He looks pleased with himself. You walk over to him.

Greeto: Heh, you heard that? They're making a big deal out of nothing!

Jerrak: Out of nothing?! We're going to get locked up if they find out we were behind it.

Greeto: Nah, they'd never pin it to us, there's just not enough evidence. And you better not be thinking about confessing to Lorke either or I'll rearrange your face. Well gotta go now buddy see you at dinner!

As you watch Greeto walk back to his room arogantly, you wonder what you should do.

A.Confess to Captain Lorke (Go to 8)
B.Go after Greeto (Go to 9)
C. Talk to the Captain to see what he knows. (go to 10)

Jerrek: Baby, a man like me does not fear danger . . .

Kyla looks at you oddly for a moment then starts to laugh

Kyla: oh, was that supposed to be smooth or something?

Jerrek: Uh, . . . er...

Kyla: No, don't get me wrong I think it's cute.

Jerrek: Really!?

Kyla: Yeah
