Why this project exists
TAYLOR began after helping friends secure safe evidence and checklists when building a case at our local courthouse. Also donating to a fundraiser that was shared in my local community on Facebook. It described a mother and her children facing a difficult recovery, and it shared domestic-violence support information for anyone who might need it.
It left me thinking about what people need before, during, and after a crisis: a safer way to preserve what happened, ask trusted people for help, and keep control of their own information.
Evidence can disappear, become separated from its context, or be difficult to organize while someone is under pressure. TAYLOR is being built to preserve original files, dates, source links, and factual notes in a private workspace.
A case owner decides whether to invite a friend, request an approved helper, or create a private report link. Support should not require surrendering control of a personal story.
TAYLOR supports careful use of lawful public sources. It does not support contact, following, impersonation, access bypasses, location tracking, harassment, or public accusations.
